Our operating hours at our different destinations are as follows:
Platvlei Fruit Farm, Wolseley:
Indulge your senses as you wander through our picturesque gardens, select fresh flowers directly from the farm, and enjoy light refreshments, cakes, and coffee beneath the shade of our majestic Pin Oak trees.
• Flower Sales & Coffee Shop: 8:00 am - 12:30 pm (Open only on Saturdays and Sundays.)
• The kitchen closes at 12:30 pm, but guests are welcome to continue exploring the grounds until later in the day.
Lourensford Wine Estate:
• Monday to Friday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 am - 4 pm
Val De Vie Winelands Lifestyle Estate:
• Monday to Friday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
The Big Red Barn - Pretoria:
• Monday to Friday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

Seasonal Dates:
From mid-December to the first week of April, we invite you to join us every weekend for a captivating stroll through our expansive 5-hectare farm. Immerse yourself in the beauty of 50,000 blooming Dahlias, 4,000 Hydrangeas, and a stunning variety of flowers in full bloom.

How to Find Us:

Directions from Cape Town: A scenic 90-minute drive. Head to Wellington, take the R46, and drive for 35 minutes until you reach the first Wolseley turnoff. Turn right and continue for 7 km. Look for a green sign on your left reading Platvlei, Speanvlei, Tweespruit, Adenes Farm Flowers. Turn left and follow the tarred farm road for 2 km until you reach Platvlei/Orchard Stay's Gate. Enter and park on the lawn.
Scenic Route: Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Slanghoek Valley by taking the N1 through the Huguenot Tunnel.

Please be advised that we operate on a cashless basis, and as such, we cannot accept cash payments. We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide you with a seamless and efficient experience.

We encourage early arrivals to enjoy the cool morning atmosphere under our protective nets, making the most of your visit before the sun gets too hot.
What to Bring:
Be sure to bring your favourite hat, comfortable closed shoes, and a bucket to carry your freshly picked flowers.
